Important Firmware Note

We have removed Java Applets from our Remote Connect with the release of Firmware V8.0.62.

You may have heard or noticed recently, that this piece of outdated, insecure web infrastructure (the Java Applet) is about to be phased out.

Oracle will be discontinuing its Java browser plugin starting with the next big release of the programming language.

Google Chrome stopped supporting the plugin standard on which the Java plugin depends last year, and Mozilla has announced it will do the same by the end of the year. Microsoft Internet Explorer still supports the standard, but the newer Microsoft Edge browser does not. Other browsers are planning similar phase outs.

Please update the firmware for your AllSync®IQ, SiteSync®IQ and Remote Transmitter units. You'll see an updated look, some additional features and you may notice an increase in performance.

Note: Remote Connect features are optimized when using Google Chrome.
