The AllSet quartz battery clock from American Time features a clock movement with a microchip that keeps track of the current date and time. Where Daylight Saving Time is observed, the AllSet quartz clock movement automatically advances the clock hands forward one hour. In the fall, the clock movement fast forwards until the correct time is reached. The AllSet clock time is manually set at startup and after replacing the batteries. Once the local time is set, the internal calendar tracks Daylight Saving Time changes automatically.
